Shortly after my vacation to KL, I went to Batam last Monday (11th June)..I go with Chua to take some portrait shoots for a company called BioMin..

This is my first time to Indonesia, Batam which was full of resorts for all the rich people to play golf and tourists to relax..I wish I could be there for holiday too..but because I can't stay overnight there..if not we also dun need to rush here and there..

The ferry to Batam was very early..at 8am..But clients required us to be at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at 7am..hm..I wake up at 5.15am lo..so early..

Clearing the custom was not easy that day..becus we brought the equipments and we never declared before hand..so on the spot..we wrote a letter and talk to the immigration officers..Luckily..we managed to clear the immigration and board the ferry shortly..

After shifting our equipments on board..we were waiting for the ferry to head off to Batam..Meanwhile the air con was so strong..make us feel like we are in a refrigerator..but after it move off..it became warmer..

After a 30 min journey..we arrived at Nongsapura..One of the port of Batam..so we need to clear the immigration again..but we were very lucky enough..that the Indonesian custom did not ask for money..which Chua said that everytime he bring the equipments..they will ask for money..It was a lucky day for us..and we board a bus to TuriBeach Resort..

TuriBeach Resort is rather nearby to Nongsapura..and covered quite a large area..Some area is still undergoing expansion and renovation..

Upon arriving at the reception of TuriBeach Resort..their staffs were very friendly and help us with unloading our equipments..Shortly..a lady served us a welcoming drink..which is Honey Ginger I suppose..

As we are supposed to get to work..we shortly started to shift our equipments to the room and do the necessary set up..it was boring lo..we only can wait and take pictures of them..

But their hospitality was very friendly..their staffs were really helpful..We had lots of coffee and tea and also snacks..We were supposed to finish our job at noon time..but because of miscommunication with our client..the shoot did not end at time.. and we finished everything at 2pm..we had our lunch which the client paid for it..hehe...

Our ferry back to Singapore departs at 4.30pm Indonesia time which is our 5.30pm..

But after packing our equipments..we do not even have the time to walk around at their beach..haiz..dun even have time to enjoy ourselves..wad a pity..but still I am very contented to be able to go to Batam..

This is my second stamp to my new passport..hm..I want to fill my passport with lot of stamps and go to many many places..

Batam..I shall visit again some other time...
